A RESOLUTION OF THANKS AND APPRECIATION TO EMS OUTREACH FUND OF HUDSON FOR ITS GIFT OF SOFTWARE TO THE CITY'S DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TO REGISTER INFORMATION AS TO THE LOCATION OF AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS IN THE CITY AND ACCEPTING THE GIFT.
Executive Summary: This Resolution accepts a donation from the EMS Outreach Hudson Fund and expresses heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the organization's support of EMS and its donation of a subscription to the AED Link system program.

Purpose & Explanation
At the December 10, 2013 Workshop the EMS Outreach Fund of Hudson presented an update of its project including its latest quest in increasing the number of AED's in Hudson. In addition the group asked Mr. Elliot Fisch of Atrus, Inc. to provide an overview of the National AED Registry and his company's product AED Link which help place nearby AED's into the hands of the responding laypeople who are responding to the need of a fellow citizen who is in Cardiac Arrest. As part of their project they have donated a two (2) year subscription to the AED Link program to the City.
This Resolution accepts the donation from the EMS Outreach Hudson Fund and expresses heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the EMS Outreach Hudson Fund for all of its support to the Department of Emergency Medical Services and its donation of a subscription to the AED Link system program.
