Purpose & Explanation
The scope of this project involves the lining of approximately 4,964 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 230 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer and 886 feet of 18-inch sanitary sewer with a cured-in-place liner.  The sanitary sewers that will be lined are located on S. Main Street, E. Streetsboro Street, York Drive, Simon Drive, Boston Mills Road, and the trunk sewer along Brandywine Creek.  The existing sanitary sewers were constructed with vitrified clay pipe and are in poor condition.  The sanitary pipe is fractured in a number of locations and the pipes have significant infiltration issues.  The pipe also has root intrusion which can lead to a main line blockage and could compromise the integrity of the upstream system.
Timing Considerations
