Purpose & Explanation
Staff is seeking funding from the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing through a Cemetery Program Grant to fund exceptional maintenance and/or training. The City of Hudson has five cemeteries. The Cemetery Grant Program provides up to $1,000.00 for exceptional maintenance projects in cemeteries that have had a burial in the last 25 years or training on maintenance and operation of cemeteries. Grant requests up to $1,000 require no match. The application was due August 14, 2109.
Staff has applied for a grant of $1,000 for the removal of a large failing pine tree that is beyond the scope of the in-house staff's removal capabilities.
