A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF HUDSON OHIO AS A MEMBER OF COMMITTEES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF AMERICAN MUNICIPAL POWER, INC.

Purpose & Explanation

The City of Hudson is currently represented on seven (7), AMP Board of Trustees sub-committees.  The Board of Trustees and sub-committees meet on a monthly basis at AMP headquarters located in Columbus, Ohio.  The City holds seats on the following AMP Board Committees:

                     Hydro Power Projects Committee

                     AMP Generation Station Committee (AMPGS)

                     Prairie State Project Committee

                     Transmission/RTO Committee

                     Solar Phase II Committee

                     Power Supply and Generation Committee

                     AFEC Natural Gas Committee

 

Through attrition these seats require reassignment.  Upon the recommendation of the City Manager, staff requests that the Director of Public Works be designated the City’s representative on the AMP Board Sub-Committees. This reassignment will be effective on Wednesday November 20, 2024.
