Purpose & Explanation
As per the 2015 approved fleet replacement budget, Public Works has solicited pricing for two (2) fleet replacement vehicles (see attached table).    The vehicles will be purchased through Montrose Auto Group utilizing the CUE contract program. Vehicle equipment and/or attachments will be purchased through competitive quotes at time of installation.
The newly purchased vehicles will replace two existing fleet vehicles within the Public Works Department which will be internet auctioned or recycled to other City departments that may require a vehicle for a less intensive use.
Timing Considerations
Staff would request emergency legislation to expedite the ordering of the vehicles and associated equipment.

Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into a purchase agreement with the Montrose Auto Group 3960 Medina Rd Akron, Ohio 44333 for the purchase of one (1) 2015 Ford Escape and one(1) 2015 Ford F 250-Series Utility Truck at a total CUE purchase price not to exceed $63,950.37
