Purpose & Explanation

The Ohio History Connection could provide matching 60/40 grant funding between $2,000 and $20,000 to fund an oral history project for Hudson Cable Television.  HCTV is interested in collecting oral histories from notable Hudson residents.

Timing Considerations

The project must be completed within 2 years.

Suggested Action

Staff recommends that City Council authorize the City Manager to apply for grant funding from the Ohio History Connection to be used for the recording and production of oral histories of notable Hudson residents for airing on Hudson Cable Television and for archive purposes.
