Purpose & Explanation

Staff seeks authorization to apply for a Litter Management Grant for $2,700 for application fee to apply for the City of Hudson to become a Keep America Beautiful affiliate.  Affiliation allows the City to be eligible for additional grant opportunities.

The grant application is due February 1, 2016.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends that City Council authorize the City Manager to submit an application to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for a Litter Management Grant to cover the cost of the one-time certification fee to become a Keep America Beautiful affiliate.
