Purpose & Explanation

The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to enter into a purchase contract with iVideo Technologies for the purchase of an HD video server and playback equipment.  The equipment is being purchased through the state bid process under state purchasing bid number 7758100308-2.   The total purchase amount will be $40,351.70.

Timing Considerations

Staff requests emergency legislation to expedite the utilization of the equipment.

Staff recommends that City Council approve this Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a purchase contract with iVideo Technologies for the purchase of an HD video server and associated playback equipment at the purchase price of $40,351.70.
