Resolution No. 15-177, affirming the City Manager’s application for a grant to provide funding for watering of plants on North Main Street, passed on November 3, 2015.

Purpose & Explanation

Staff requests the acceptance of the grant funding of $2,400 provided by the Hudson Garden Club to help cover the anticipated $7,000 cost of watering and maintenance of the planters and baskets on North Main Street for this year’s growing season and is currently budgeted

Public Works received a check for $2,400 from the Hudson Garden Club on January 5, 2016.

Suggested Action

Staff recommends that City Council authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to accept $2,400 in grant funding from the Hudson Garden Club to help cover the cost of watering and maintenance of the planters and baskets on North Main Street.
