Purpose & Explanation

Staff would like to apply for funds to determine trail routing from the library southward to Veterans Park. Routes to study will be State Route 303 east to 91 south and State Route 303 west to Milford Road south. For each corridor we will study trail routing within the public right of way versus rear yard or behind building options. A $35,000 scope of work is contemplated to be funded with a $19,500 grant request and a $15,500 local match. The grant application is due May 27 and must be accompanied by this legislation.
