Electors of the City of Hudson approved an amendment to Charter Section 3.10 concerning Council member salaries, providing $80 for attendance at a “regular” meeting, not to exceed $160 per month.
Purpose & Explanation
A question has arisen as to whether the use of the term “regular meeting” in the Charter includes regular Workshop (or regular committee meetings of Council that may be established in the future) and, pursuant to City Charter Section 2.02 of Article II, the purpose of this Ordinance is to define and clarify what the term “regular” meeting means with respect to the compensation of Council member.
