Purpose & Explanation

Staff seeks approval to apply for 50 percent of the cost of the installation of cart paths at Ellsworth Meadows.  The cost of the cart paths is $290,310.00.  Grant funding of $145,155.00 is to be requested.

Timing Considerations

The application is due November 15, 2016.  Grants are expected to be awarded in early spring 2017.

Staff recommends City Council approve the City Manager’s application for grant funding of $145,155.00 from the Land and Water Conservation Fund for the installation of cart paths at Ellsworth Meadows on behalf of the Hudson Parks.
