A MOTION TO APPROVE A TWO-MONTH EXTENSION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S REVIEW PERIOD FOR ORDINANCE NO. 16-57, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 1202, "ADMINISTRATIVE AND REVIEW ROLES," 1203 "DEVELOPMENT REVIEW AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES," 1205, "ZONING DISTRICTS," 1207, "ZONING DEVELOPMENT AND SITE PLAN STANDARDS," AND 1213, "DEFINITIONS," OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO IMPLEMENT THE AMENDMENTS TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF HUDSON ADOPTED IN 2015."
Executive Summary: At its meeting of August 8, 2016, the Planning Commission requested that Council approve a two-month extension of its review period for Ordinance No. 16-57. With approval of this request, the Planning Commission will provide a recommendation to City Council no later than the Planning Commission's October 10, 2016, meeting. Council will conduct its own public hearing and will take final action after it receives Planning Commission's recommendation.

Purpose & Explanation
Pursuant to the Land Development Code, Section 1203.03(c)(1), Procedures for Approval, City Council must forward proposed LDC amendments to the Planning Commission for public hearing and review, and the Planning Commission must provide a recommendation to Council within 120 days of Council's referral.
Timing Considerations
