Purpose & Explanation

On July 18, 2016, the Hudson Park Board made a recommendation to Council to obligate the 50% match ($145,155.00) from the Park Fund if the grant is awarded to the Hudson Parks.

Documentation is needed to show the availability of funds to complete the proposed project and obligating of funds necessary for the required match.

Timing Considerations

The grant application is due November 15, 2016.

Suggested Action

Staff recommends that City Council authorize the Finance Director to obligate the funds necessary to satisfactorily complete the construction of the Ellsworth Meadows Trail Expansion project and become eligible for reimbursement of 50% of the project cost.
