Legislative History

This project was included within the 2016 Capital Improvements Budget for the Public Properties Division.

Purpose & Explanation

During the summer months, staff worked closely with a contractor to examine roofing surfaces using thermal imaging technology.  Areas where moisture has penetrated the existing roofing structure were identified and prioritized.  This first step in replacing the roofing sections will take care of many areas that are prone to leakage during normal rain events.  Four roof sections of flat roofing will be replaced as part of this proposed contract.  Two bids were received for the work and are attached to this file.

Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. - $37,545.10

Total Roofing Services- $50,200.00

The contractor would begin work as soon as the weather permits.
