Purpose & Explanation
The City of Hudson City Engineer would like to discuss with City Council and the Mayor the top sidewalk sections within the connectivity project that is budgeted for 2017. The budget amount is $100,000 in 2017 for a connectivity project.

Top sidewalk sections in the plan: (Parks Funding for trails):
#2 in the 2014 Connectivity Plan estimate = $272,700 (Eligible for ODOT Safe Routes Funding).
#4 in the 2014 Connectivity Plan estimate = $434,669. (Eligible for ODOT Safe Routes Funding).
#48 in the 2014 Connectivity Plan estimate = $190,400 (Eligible for AMATS funding).
#6 in the 2014 Connectivity Plan estimate = $ 156,000. (Eligible for AMATS funding).
#15 in the 2014 Connectivity Plan Current estimate = $200,000. (ODOT Safety Funding Application, Hudson should receive notice in mid-2017).

Safety issue Ravenna Street (205 Ravenna Street)
The City has an existing trail from Barlow Community Center to Ravenna Street that shall have a crosswalk/curb ramp at Ravenna Street on the south side of the road. There is none. The request is for a sidewalk along the north side of Ravenna St. from the trail to approximately #205 Ravenna Street to accommodate a visually impaired resident and to provide a safe sidewalk from the TLC Daycare to the trail, which they use daily. The City has an existing contract for concrete work in Hudson as part of our annual program, and we are requesting to add this additional cost ($40,000) to that contract, if approved by Council or to utilize the connectivity budgeted fu...
