Purpose & Explanation
This is a request to apply to AMATS as a joint applicant with the City of Stow for the following projects:
1.) Norton Road Resurfacing Project (Hudson Drive to Metro Bike Trail crossing)
Estimated Total Cost: $300,000
The 20% local match will be split 50/50 with Stow.
2.) Norton Road Reconstruction Project (Hudson Drive to Metro Bike Trail crossing)
Estimated Total Cost: $5,000,000
The 20% local match will be split 50/50 with Stow. This is a complete reconstruction of the roadway.
3.) Seasons Road Reconstruction Project (Allen Road to approx. Seasons Eco Green Development).
Estimated Total Cost: $2,500,000
The 20% local match will be split 50/50 with Stow.
Timing Considerations
Following the approval of City Council this legislation will be submitted to AMATS with the project application that will be completed by the City of Stow, Ohio. If this project is approved for funding by AMATS, this project would be funded as soon as funds are available.

Staff recommends that City Council approve this legislation authorizing the City of Hudson to apply as a joint applicant with the City of Stow for the purpose of applying for AMATS funding for the above stated projects. The City staff is also requesting that an emergency clause be added to this legislation in order to protect the welfare and safety of the public ...
