Purpose & Explanation
Staff wishes to inform City Council of the project’s status and the next steps for the award of the construction contract and construction management services. Discussion items will include the following:
§ Project bid advertisement 12/24 & 12/31/2017
§ Permits status
§ Construction contract bid opening - 1/30/18
§ Construction bid review and award - week of 2/5/18
§ Construction Manager (CM) review and selection -week of 1/15/18
§ Contract award for CM - 2/6/18 Council meeting
§ Estimated construction start - March-April 2018
§ Salt storage structure substantial completion - November 2018
§ Bus garage substantial completion - March 2019
§ Restoration, deficiency/punch lists - May 2019
