Purpose & Explanation

Hudson EMS has applied for grant funding to be determined by the amount of grant funds available in the 2018 grant cycle.  Funding will be used towards training and/or equipment listed on the Training and Equipment List/Expenditures Form as approved by the Ohio EMFTS Board.  There is no mandatory match.

Timing Considerations

The funding period is July 1 through December 31, 2018.  Invoices for reimbursement must be submitted by January 31, 2019.

Staff recommends that City Council affirm the application submitted by the City Manager’s Designee to the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services, for an EMS Priority One Training and Equipment Grant.
