A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY THE CITY MANAGER’S DESIGNEE TO THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND THE OHIO HIGHWAY PATROL, OHIO TRAFFIC SAFETY OFFICE/TRAFFIC RECORDS COORDINATING COMMITTEE, FOR A GRANT TO PROVIDE ELECTRONIC TABLETS FOR HUDSON EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE.
Executive Summary: The Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS and the Ohio Highway Patrol, Ohio Traffic Safety Office / Traffic Records Coordinating Committee have collaborated to distribute approximately 1,200 electronic tablets to EMS agencies throughout Ohio for the promotion of EMS data reporting submissions to the Ohio Emergency Medical Service Incident Reporting System (EMSIRS) and for use with the OHTrac Mass Casualty Incident Mobile Application and Trauma Registry.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff is seeking 10 iPads, valued at up to approximately $5,000.00, for EMS data reporting to the Emergency Medical Service Incident Reporting System (EMSIRS) and for use with the OHTrac Mass Casualty Incident Mobile Application and Trauma Registry.
Timing Considerations
iPads are available until the supply is depleted.
