Executive Summary: This contract is for the purchase of six (6) 7.62Kv Distribution Regulators which will be provided by Sirkoch Associates. This equipment is required for the completion of scheduled upgrades as part the Prospect Street Substation Improvement project.

Purpose & Explanation
Bids were received on April 26, 2018 for the purchase of six (6) distribution regulators and associated components required for the second phase of the Prospect Substation improvement project.
The engineering design firm assisting with this project, GPD analyzed the proposals to make their recommendation on the lowest and best bid for the above mentioned equipment.
The city administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with Sirkoch Associates for the purchase of the 7.62Kv distribution regulators for the Prospect Substation Improvement project. Staff is recommending Sirkoch Associates as the lowest and best bidder. The Public Works Staff is requesting $105,000 for the purchase of the regulators and 10,500 for the purchase of replacement regulator stands. The total cost would be $115,500.00. The budget estimates for this equipment was $117,000
Total Contract = $115,500 ($105,000 - base + $10,500 - replacement stands)
Timing Considerations
Upon authorization to proceed by the City Council, the administration will award and enter into a contract with Sirkoch Associates for the above amounts.
