Purpose & Explanation
The traffic signal maintenance contract is currently held by the Signal Service Company located in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. The Public Works staff has consistently been pleased with Signal Service Company's response time, professionalism and technical expertise. The existing contract allows for a two-year extension of the contract and Public Works has requested revised pricing for the extension option from the Signal Service Company. The current hourly rate for a service vehicle and technician is $61.00/hr. The newly submitted hourly rate is $62.00 /hr. This new rate represents a 1.5% increase in the hourly rate.
