Purpose & Explanation
The City entered into a cooperation and cost share agreement with the City of Akron for the resurfacing of Middleton Road. The cost provided was an estimated cost of $353,185.00. The actual bid price came in at $437,646.55, which includes a 10% contingency, and therefore requires City Council approval to increase the amount. The new cost share amount for each entity would be a not to exceed amount of $218,823.28 (50% of $437,646.55).
