16-153 - Authorized a 3-year contract with ODOT for municipal bridge inspection services.
Purpose & Explanation
The State of Ohio has provided a funding program to perform bridge inspections and other services on Municipal bridges within the City of Hudson, Ohio at no charge to the city.
The program services include, but are not limited to, scour assessment tasks, bridge load rating tasks, structure inventory and review, inspection procedures, and bridge inspections as identified within PID 102554 by the State of Ohio Department of Transportation.
The State of Ohio shall assume and bear 100% of all the cost for the Bridge Inspection Program (PID 109334) requested by the City and agreed to by the State of Ohio.
The City of Hudson as local public agency (LPA) agrees to pay 100% of the cost of those items which are not included. However, we believe we will not need additional inspection services outside of the scope of services that are provided, hence no additional cost to the City. No additional funds were expensed during the last 3-year contract.
The LPA agrees that all right-of-way required for the described project will be made available in accordance with current State and Federal regulations.
