Brief Description: The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation provides Safety Intervention Grant Program funding to Ohio public employers who wish to purchase equipment to substantially reduce or eliminate injuries associated with a particular task or operation. The City of Hudson is eligible for approximately $37,217.36 in funding.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff is seeking funding from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation through a Safety Intervention Program Grant to assist with funding a power ambulance cot and power cot loading system for one of the Hudson EMS ambulances. The grant provides funding on a 75% (OBWC)/ 25% (City) basis. The City of Hudson is currently eligible for $37,217.36 in grant funding with a $12,405.79 match required.
