17-71 1A. ResolutionA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A RECREATIONAL SPLASH PAD FOR VETERANS WAY PARK; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Executive Summary: As part of the approved 2017 Parks Budget, $215,000 has been allocated for the installation of a splash pad at Veterans Way Park, of which $140,000 will be funded by the Parks Fund, and $75,000 has been donated by the Hudson Kiwanis. Council granted authorization for the purchase of the splash pad materials and components at the March 21, 2017 Council meeting in the amount of $40,256.
