15-0034 1A. PresentationPresentation: Trash and Recycling Collection Executive Summary: In 2014, the City of Hudson Environmental Awareness Committee (EAC) discussed with City Council a proposal to transfer City residential trash and recycle pick-up services to a private hauler(s) contract. At the time, it was also suggested that the committee work in cooperation with the City to develop and distribute a citizen customer survey to help better identify how Hudson residents felt about moving to a city-wide private contract trash hauler. The Committee has completed the survey exercise and now wishes to discuss with Council the survey results and make recommendations moving forward.
