16-127 1C. ResolutionA RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE MANCHESTER GROUP, LLC DBA IGS ENERGY HOME SERVICES AS THE CITY’S PREFERRED RESIDENTIAL UTILITY LINE AND HOME SYSTEM PROTECTION SERVICES VENDOR AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A SERVICE CONTRACT THEREFOR. Executive Summary: American Municipal Power (AMP) has partnered with IGS energy to offer member communities residential utility line and home system protection services. The Public Works Department staff met with three providers of these services and has determined that IGS Energy has the most comprehensive and cost competitive programs available. Staff seeks to move forward with the program service offerings to all Hudson residents through an agreement for services and branding development. Mr. Jason Richards with IGS Energy and Ms. Tracy Reimbold with AMP will be in attendance at the workshop to answer Council questions regarding the recommended program.item forwarded  Action details Video Video
16-0067 1D. Staff ReportDiscussion: The SR 91 North Turn Lane Improvements, Costs Estimates and Recommendations. Executive Summary: The SR 91 North Turn Lane Improvement project design includes the evaluation of the addition of left turn lanes at Valley View Road, Herrick Park Drive & Hines Hill Road, resurfacing of SR 91 from Brandywine Drive to Middleton Road, the installation of a sidewalk on one side of the road, and bike lanes on both sides of the road from Brandywine Drive to Middleton Road. The City of Hudson staff has completed a feasibility study and public open house for the project and would like to review the improvement options, cost estimates and recommendations with City Council.discussed  Action details Video Video
