A Discussion regarding the effort to expand Fiber to the Residents.  
Brief Description: The Fiber to the Residents Ad Hoc Committee and Staff  
are prepared to discuss the feasibility and next steps to expand Velocity  
Broadband fiber services to residents in Hudson who do not have fiber service  
today.

Follow-up: High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) Signal  
Brief Description: This is a follow-up discussion from September 12, 2024,  
Council Workshop. Council requested staff review the possible installation of  
a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (aka High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk signal, or  
“HAWK” Signal), on Aurora Street at E. Main Street or the mid-block  
crossing on N. Main Street. In addition, staff will review conceptual, road  
widening options along Aurora Street to improve congestion at the intersection  
of Aurora Street and N. Main Street.

Brief Description: City staff will present the improvements planned for  
construction along W. Streetsboro Street (SR 303) from Boston Mills Road to

Discussion of the City’s Memorial Tree Program  
Brief Description: With addition of the many memorial trees in the  
downtown district, staff would like to consider placing memorial trees in other  
city owned areas of the City.  
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF HUDSON’S GENERAL  
FUND BUDGET OVERAGE COMMITMENT FOR HUDSON  
INFRASTRUCTURE.  
Brief Description: This is an Ordinance directing the Finance Department to  
prepare draft appropriations for certain uses, at least in part, in an amount  
equal to any excess General Fund carryover balance.

Brief Description: Staff is requesting permission to use govdeals.com and  
other similar services to dispose of unneeded, obsolete, or unfit equipment.  
This is a required annual renewal of agreement for Govdeals online auction  
services.

Broadband service operation that will exceed $25,000 based on the 2025  
approved budget.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4, “STORM COLLECTION”  
AND SECTION 5, “STORM WATER MANAGEMENT,” OF CHAPTER  
1419, “ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE  
CONSTRUCTION” OF THE BUILDING AND HOUSING CODE.  
Brief Description: The City of Hudson’s Engineering Standards Section 4 -  
Storm Collection and Section 5 - Storm Water Management were last updated  
in 2018. Staff would like to update these sections to reflect recommended  
higher storm water conveyance and flood mitigation standards and various  
changes due to industry standards that have changed since the last updates.
