AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $1,900,000 OF NOTES, IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING COSTS OF IMPROVING THE CITY’S WATER SYSTEM AND THE CITY’S WATER TREATMENT PLANT BY CONSTRUCTING A BRINE WELL, TOGETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AND APPURTENANCES THERETO; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Brief Description: This ordinance allows for the financing of the brine well at the water plant.

Purpose & Explanation
This project involves the drilling of a brine well including the construction of associated infrastructure at the City’s water plant for use in the water treatment process. Brine can also be used as a snow and ice melting agent for the City’s snow and ice control program
