Purpose & Explanation

Staff will discuss the turning radii concerns at the SR 91 and SR 303 intersection. The primary issue is the impact of turning vehicles, particularly trucks, that are overtopping the curb and curb ramps.

 

The presentation will summarize the findings of previous traffic studies that evaluated the existing curb radius and will outline potential improvements.

 

Staff will also discuss an analysis of the available traffic count and vehicle speed data collected for the E. Case Drive, W. Case Drive, Hartford Road, and Milford Road area.

Staff is looking for Council direction on how to proceed to with changes to this intersection to improve pedestrian safety.
