Executive Summary:  The Leadership Hudson Class of 2012-2013 has completed the design of a corporation sign for the City of Hudson.  The Class hopes to purchase four (4) of the signs and donate them to the City of Hudson for installation.

Legislative History
On January 21, 2014, the Leadership Hudson Class of 2012-2013 discussed the purchase of new corporation signs with members of City Council.  City Council had several suggestions for the project including size and color of a possible sign.  Council also suggested that the signage project include solar lighting.  
Purpose & Explanation
The Leadership Hudson Class will present a full-size mock-up of the sign which includes the current City of Hudson logo and ask that City Council consider the acceptance of a donation of four (4) signs to be installed later this year.  The signs will be located on State Routes 91 and 303 at the corporation line.    
 Timing Considerations
If granted approval, the Leadership Hudson Class of 2012-2013 will purchase the signs immediately.  They hope for the signs to be installed later this year.

Staff recommends that the donation of four (4) new corporation signs, purchased by the Leadership Hudson, class be accepted.
