Purpose & Explanation
Staff has used supplemental funding from the Hudson Garden Club’s grant for the watering and maintenance of flowering plants in the downtown area annually. Staff seeks a grant for $2,400 to supplement the watering and maintenance of large flower pots on Clinton Street and Park Lane. The funding will help to cover the cost of hiring a professional contractor to perform this task, which is estimated to cost $7,000 for the growing season and is currently budgeted.
