Purpose & Explanation
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation awarded the City of Hudson's Emergency Medical Service a Safety Intervention Grant of $34,800.75 (75% of the base cost) for a power ambulance cot and power load system. The City of Hudson's match is $11,600.25 (25% of the base cost). This matching grant does not include warranties. The City has received a quote from Stryker, a sole source provider, in an amount of $55,294.57, including warranties.
Timing Considerations
Grant funding was awarded and accepted on 3/2/2017. Equipment must be purchased and implemented by 5/31/2017. Receipts must be submitted by 6/30/2017.
