Staff sought authorization to apply for a Community Development Matching Grant for development of the former Koberna site for the Hudson City Schools Bus Garage and City of Hudson facilities.

Purpose & Explanation
The Summit County Land Reutilization Corporation has awarded the City of Hudson a $25,000 matching grant for demolition and associated site preparation costs for the reutilization of the former Koberna property on Hudson Drive. The cost of clearing, grubbing, and structure removal for this site is estimated at $66,160. With acceptance of this grant, the net cost to the City will be $41,160.
