Purpose & Explanation
Bids were received on October 19, 2017 for the purchase of the major components required for the first phase of the Prospect Street Substation Improvements project. The engineering design firm assisting with this project, GPD, has analyzed the submitted proposals to make the recommendation based on the lowest and best bid for the power transformer.
Based on the consultant's recommendation, city administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with OTC Services for the purchase of a power transformer for the Prospect Street Substation Improvements.
