Purpose & Explanation

The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to advertise for the 2016 five annual capital maintenance road programs which include the Line Striping, Crack Sealing, Concrete Replacement, Sidewalk Connectivity and Asphalt Resurfacing Programs.  Each of these will be bid out separately, with the exclusion of the sidewalk connectivity, this will be combined with the concrete program as one project.

Timing Considerations

Upon authorization to proceed by the City Council, the administration intends to advertise these five programs at the end of 2015 to try and get better pricing and more bidders with construction in 2016.
