Purpose & Explanation
ODOT has a process that allows local public agencies (LPA) to administer projects that will use Federal funding vs. utilizing ODOT for this process. The process requires the LPA to enter into an agreement with ODOT for this process. The agreement requires the LPA to follow the federal process for items such as, consultant selection, bid process, contracting invoices, using domestically made materials and the environmental clearance documents. The LPA process allows for more local control of the design, construction administration, cost and schedule.
The City is responsible for 100% of the design and environmental fees. The construction costs will be funded by ODOT at a rate of 80% (Federal Match) in Federal SRTS funds and 20% (Local Match). The City of Hudson also received a grant for $50,000.00.

The construction will begin in 2015.
