Purpose & Explanation
The purpose for the addendum is for the following items that were discovered during design and exceed the existing funding for the design of this project:
Additional design work Cost
Additional Environmental design (Upland wetland) $11,570
Design exceptions for the bridge $ 3,298
Trail realignment near Barlow Road $ 9,000
Wetland permitting (if needed) $ 5,132
Total $29,000
The City staff does not anticipate any additional costs for this project and the final design will be completed in the Fall, 2018 and ready to bid for construction in early 2019.
The City of Hudson received a grant from AMATS for $500,000 for the construction of this project. The City does not anticipate any right-of-way acquisitions on this project, since the alignment is within City rights-of-way or City property.
Timing Considerations
Staff asks Council to act on the Resolution as soon as it is able.
