Executive Summary:  The City applied for and was awarded federal funds through the Municipal Bridge Program for the replacement of the Ingleside Drive Bridge.  ODOT is requesting written acceptance of the awarded funds.

Purpose & Explanation

The City applied for and was awarded federal funds through the Municipal Bridge Program for the replacement of the Ingleside Drive Bridge.  Typically these funds are awarded at a 20%/80% City/ODOT funding split.  Utilizing the Toll Revenue Credit the total awarded funds will be provided at 95% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of $977,400, in the State’s Fiscal Year 2020.  ODOT is requesting written acceptance of the awarded funds.

Suggested Action

Staff recommends the Council accepts Federal Funds through the Municipal Bridge Program.  We are also requesting an emergency clause due to ODOT’s deadline.
